My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer in both lungs. After the first surgery on the left lung and 7 days at our local hospital in North Carolina which didn’t turn out so well, we heard about Dr. Servais and his thoracic team in Boston. After lots of angst over what to do…we took a leap of faith and travelled to Boston where the thoracic team of Lahey Medical Center did amazing tests (not done in NC) and then the cancer was robotically removed from the right lung. He was in the hospital for two days. The care was fabulous. The thoracic team was so impressive. My husband felt miraculously great immediately. Dr. Servais was amazing to work with. He provided lots of compassion and details to get us through this difficult time. He's a gem.
