I went to write Dr Coolidge a thank-you letter today but learned that Highland Ridge Hospital was shut down, so without knowing how to reach her or her staff, this is my thank you note. My son was admitted to Highland Ridge on a psychiatric hold and was suicidal. Dr. Coolidge and her staff taught my son meditation and other emotional calming techniques. Within a short time, my son was sounding better and telling me he was ready for his next stage of treatment. My son left home in a very dark place, and under Dr. Coolidge's leadership he turned around and was able to face life and the challenges he had created for himself. Now over a year later, he is doing well, and I truly believe Highland Ridge was the turning point for him. Thank you, Dr. Coolidge, and to the staff at Highland Ridge.
