Although Dr. Emilio Torres did not deliver any of my two children, they would not be here today without him. I found him after I had a miscarriage of twins in 2004 due to uterine fibroids. My current doctors wanted me to have a hysterectomy. Every time I saw them was a pressure campaign to remove my uterus. I cried and I prayed for God to help me find a doctor that could help me. I had the number of three doctors and Dr. Torres had the earliest appointment. He looked at my ultrasound images and declared that he could remove the fibroids. He said that he had many patient like me and he had done many of these surgeries. He performed my myomectomy successfully. All my future pregnancies would have to be c-sections, but I could and did get pregnant two more times. Unfortunately, I’d moved to Orlando and he was not able to deliver the babies he made possible. In 2022, after returning to WPB, he also became my daughters OBYGN! Everyday I see my children, I thank God for Dr. Torres.
