I used to have a brilliant, honest car wiz where I used to live, and man, he was the best-kept secret in the city, always straight with you, knew exactly what was going on and how to fix it, so kind and personable. You know how rare that is? I really miss him, but I was WAY more tickled to find a brilliant and honest Colon Cancer Wiz at Ruby, because boy did I end up needing her, and boy did she do an amazing job on me too (ok, two of them now, with at least one more to go, as there is a lot going on in there). This state has high rates of bowel cancer, so Dr. G has a huge amount of experience with it and seriously knows her wheelhouse. She is good about getting on her patients' level, yet also teaches her subject at the University, and will explain as much as you ask her to. I have found her to be warm, trustworthy and reassuring also as a human being, sense of humor, and she has a large staff fan club at the hospital (which tells you a whole lot right there). Very grateful for her.
