I had tears in my eyes because I was so happy to finally have a diagnosis after months of swelling and increasing ankle&foot pain. I started to worry a little that it might be something more serious or that I was crazy for being in so much pain for no obvious reason that others before couldn’t explain or got wrong. The PA was great and took time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions about posterior tibial tendon insufficiency. Starting conservative treatment and have a follow-up appt with Dr. Exton in 6 wks.
