I have been a client of Dr. Chivian since my time as a postdoc when he was on the Medical Center staff at MIT. The quality of his care is of the highest caliber that I have ever experienced in this field. I was delighted each time he agreed to continue treating me upon each of his venue changes through the decades (1993 to present). He is a compassionate and intelligent therapist largely in the rogerian (PCT) tradition and is especially suited to a self-aware, scientifically educated patient.
