Choosing a doctor based on doing your homework and searching the net could be disappointing. This time, I went to Dr. Furst as my GP recommended and I am glad I did! The office is simple and clean, it is unassuming and not in a flashy building. The receptionist was polite and cordial. I waited about 15 minutes. Dr. Furst came into the exam room with a smile, shook our hands, asked about what brought me there; he listened intently, took notes, ask me very thorough questions, told me what he thought my problem was, went to his office to review the imaging himself, returned and confirmed his diagnosis, and used pictures to explain what is happening in my throat. He called for a prescription, told me what the medicine does, answered my Qs about side effects, laid out the time line for seeing progress. I was VERY happy with the visit, and I left his office feeling better and more assured than when I went there. I highly recommend Dr. Furst who provides a genuinely caring service.
