I was seeing an awful orthopedist who literally hung up the phone on me and was impossible to contact. She scheduled me for surgery, but she seemed sketchy and weird to me so I went to get a second opinion. I called Fox Valley Orthopedics, and they carefully took into consideration which doctor they thought I should see, and placed me with Bartel. He saved me from majorly invasive and unnecessary surgery when the doctor just wanted money. I’m recovering extremely quickly without it. I’m glad he didn’t take the chance to put me through unnecessary pain and extending my recovery for a quick cash grab. He’s empathetic and honest.
