Having worked under numerous physicians I’ve seen some of the best and worst patient care in the industry. Some providers are too invested in praise or temporary satisfaction, ultimately blindly fulfilling requests to avoid conflict. Some don’t listen to their patients at all and work methodically, almost a textbook fashion. It’s rare to find a physician who is comprehensively dedicated to treating the immediate needs of a patient and considers their long-term fate as well. Dr. Eric Forsthoefel is both compassionate and logical in his approach to medicine. He is a true gentleman and an advocate for authentic healthcare. I have heard the Forsthoefel dynasty is a special bunch, looks like their forerunner has inherited that gift as well. Thank you Eric for keeping our patients and Emergency Medicine alive and well.
