Patient Reviews
Jan 25, 2023
Dr. Sorenson was referred to me by a colleague as a very well-trained oncological surgery specialist, highly skilled, and pleasing to work with. He is certainly that and much more. He was very accommodating re: scheduling, initiated calls rather than wait for me to call, spent more than ample time throughly explaining pre-op, the procedure, and post-op things to watch for. He made rounds regularly in the hospital no matter how busy the day, and gave very attentive follow-up care. His very relaxed yet professional demeanor and confidence, wealth of knowledge, and obvious concern for me as an individual were most reassuring. I feel privileged to have the excellent medical care I am receiving from Dr. Sorenson, a truly fine physician.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
