Is Dr Kaplan capable of accurately diagnosing and treating a human being going thru dispair; is he able to explore alternatives? Does he listen to his patient (AND family) even when one may think he is not? YES, YES, and YES! He is a highly skillful psychiatrist, direct and not prone to chit chat. In today’s environment, when there is such a horrible shortage of Behavioral Health Spec, w some literally speaking a language a patient cannot understand, and where patients may be just another number, Dr Kaplan rises above all. Ascension Healthcare is VERY lucky to have him. I pray EVERY DAY he stays in practice for a very long time, so he can help others as he has helped my family. This is not an easy field to be in nowadays. God Bless Dr Kaplan!
