Dr. Askenasy possesses exceptional gifts bestowed by the Almighty: a meticulous dedication to his patients and an unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes. Words cannot fully capture the extent of Dr. Askenasy's dedication; he fought tirelessly alongside my father, mirroring his resolve to grant him another chance at life. At the age of 81, my father underwent an ileostomy reversal under Dr. Askenasy’s care. Beyond his surgical skill, Dr. Askenasy treated him with profound humanity, extending his kindness and consideration to our entire family. He took the time to explain every detail and even prayed with us, embodying compassion and grace.Dr. Askenasy is a rare gem in today's medical landscape. His approach combines the hands-on expertise of an old-school physician with a saintly bedside manner. Quite simply, he is the finest doctor specializing in colon and rectal surgery in Texas, and perhaps even the world.
