I was referred to Dr. Thorell from a friend a few years back. From the first appointment on I found him to be a compassionate, friendly and experienced doctor. He helped me with my knee pain by giving gel shots. They were very effective. Sometime later, I brought my elderly mother to him at the Bala Cynwyd office. Everyone there was great with my mom, especially Dr. Thorell. He has encouraged her to do PT and OT which has really helped along with the gel and corticosteroid shots in her knee. Unfortunately, she is not a candidate for knee replacement surgery due to advanced age. She still is in pain but all of this has helped her to stay at home a little bit longer. Without his care I think she would be immobile. We both so appreciate his care.
