Dr. Nelli was my oncologist for nearly four years until I moved out of state. I could not have hoped for a more diligent, caring, and tenacious doctor. She was communicative and explained things in a way that made sense to me, and she always made sure that the rest of her team were on the same page. She was continually reaching out to specialists and got me in front of them for consultations. Dr. Nelli was always real with me about cancer, its danger, treatment options, and outcomes. She was always aware that talking about cancer can be sensitive, but she also never shied away from discussing it. She listened to my questions about treatments and supported my choice to supplement my immuno and targeted treatments with other forms of medicine, such as acupuncture. She was also always available for hugs. Dr. Nelli never gave up on me. Even when things seem darkest, she is a luminous force that shines bright in a world that can feel bleak and uncaring. I trust Dr. Nelli wholeheartedly.
