I was referred to Dr. Erin Ong by my retina surgeon. I had experienced two retinal detachments and needed to have cataract surgery. Needless to say, I was nervous about having another eye surgery. However, Dr. Ong provided a comprehensive overview of the surgery, expected outcomes and coordinated with my retina surgeon before and after the surgery. She understood the complexities of my previous surgeries and took the time to explain how we were going to move forward. Throughout the process, she was caring, understanding and excited about my progress. I had complete confidence in her performing the surgery.
