Patient Reviews
Dec 02, 2022
My daughter has rare and severe neurological issues that have steadily shown themselves in the last 4 years. Dr. Rafferty never dismissed even the smallest unexplainable symptom. We were sent to a CHKD specialist which we still see and Dr. Rafferty is facilitating communication and referrals with major US hospitals and anesthesiologists. One of my child's disorders is so rare no CHKD patient has ever had it. It was diagnosed within CHKD in 2 months verses the normal 2-5 years. That is thanks to Dr. Rafferty taking it seriously from the smallest early symptom that could have been anything. I have no idea why someone left a negative review, but Dr. Rafferty takes time with patients, listens and will tell you if she isn't the one to address it and will send you to a specialist. I am a difficult and unyielding parent who has worked with Dr. Rafferty over the years and she's among the best physicians we've seen from CHKD to Duke to Mayo Clinic to the Cleveland Clinic.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
