Dr. Mekhaiel SAVED MY LIFE. I was transferred in from Hindsdale Hospital, I had suffered multiple collapsed and partially collapsed lung since 5-28-24 thru 6-6-24. I was in so much pain with second chest under arm thru ribs got worse. An RN Aziza NS, got a Stat-XRays on 6-8-24 due to a couple days of excruciating pain my ribcage and pushing into my abdomen, in PCU at Christ Hospital . I still had a pneumothorax and he discovered a couple issues. Stopped Resident Dr. From pulling my chest tube, he unclamped my tube and all this liquid came out and I finally felt better-ish. I believe he SAVED MY LIFE and by doing this stopped me from having to get a 3rd bigger chest tube. He's empathetic, listens, cares, very very intelligent man. Speaks 20 different languages fluently. But I speak English. Stayed with my case till I left 6-15-24. Dr Pearl who assists him is also so kind and wonderful and makes sure issues-pain are addressed. Thank you so much Dr. Mekhaiel and Dr. Pearl.
