I came to Sloan Kettering after a bad experience with a NJ urologist. I picked Dr. Cha out of many MSK urologists because of his years of experience, where he interned and went to med school.I glad I never checked Healthgrades with the negative reviews.If I spent 30 minutes discussing my case with my former urologist including a surgical procedure, I am giving her the time benefit. She didn’t seem to want to know me as a person and I felt I was just another cancer patient.My experience with Dr.Cha has been the exact opposite. He’s called me at home apologizing for not being able to do the tele-medicine call that was to be the next day. He, himself, was in the hospital and had set up a call with one of his urology colleagues.On the day of my surgery he visited me while I was waiting. He again explained the surgical procedure. What really impressed me is how he wanted to know more about me as a person not just his patient. His kindness and empathy is the reason he is good man.
