When I went to see Dr. Kwon I had just entered the world of Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. Here’s my journey:Prostatectomy in August 21Recurrence 16 months later followed by salvage radiation, also ADT.PSA started to rise again fairly quickly. Found a metastatic tumor on iliac bone. Got SBRT to that.Decided it was time to get to Mayo and see Dr. Kwon. First PSMA scan found 17 tumors from neck to abdomen. All on Lymph Nodes. Dr. Kwon decided on a treatment path, triple play therapy. Chemotherapy of and Carboplatin, Docetaxel, Darolutimide and ADT. Returned home and met with local Medical Oncologist. He agreed to follow Kwon plan exactly. After 4 Chemo infusions I got a PSMA scan at Mayo. 10 of the tumors were gone. Others had shrunk and were less avid. After 6 infusions back to Mayo and Dr. Kwon. PSMA found all signs of metastasis gone. Miraculous!Dr. Kwon does not treat like most other Doctors. He is more aggressive and effective. Highly recommend him. Don
