It was the last day of our vacation on Oahu. Wonderful eight days at the Aulani with my daughter and her family. Had breakfast and almost immediately felt sick. Lots of sharp pain on my lower right side. Ambulance to Pali Momi where I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Kang take my case. She diagnosed an intestinal hernia. By 7 PM, I was in surgery, which was robotic and laparoscopic. Start to finish, I could not have asked for a better, kinder, more competent, or compassionate physician. At a time when I was entirely vulnerable and very far from home, Dr. Eugenia Kang stepped in and performed a life-saving surgery. Three weeks later, I am home safe and thoroughly rested and recovered. Doing great now. I will never forget what a relief and a joy it was that this outstanding doctor was there to care for me. She is honestly incredible. Thank you for everything, Dr. Kang, from a very grateful patient.Andrea - July 06, 2024
