Outlines his preferred course of action & the reasons why he suggests it along with any potential drawbacks. When asked, will offer alternative courses of action and the pros and cons for those. You may need to prompt him for explanations, but he makes them easy to understand. One of the few male doctors I've had who is willing to tell you all your options, let you disagree on what course of action to take, & support you in the option you prefer (the bar is /so low/ but I'm glad he clears it).
