Took me four years and four other neurologists before I found Dr Ahmad, who actually listened to my symptoms and solved the mystery about my head pain. By my second visit, he suggested a lumbar puncture, and IIH WAS the diagnosis. I had told neurologists my symptoms, and they said they were just migraines THAT NEVER WENT AWAY. My opening pressure was 40. 40! Don’t waste your time seeing other doctors who don’t listen or who have horrible bedside manner. Dr Ahmad is the best!
