Patient Reviews
Jun 14, 2023
My life was halted due to advancing heart disease. For many years I struggled with the plan for an LVAD or Heart Transplant . When I was referred to Dr. Al-Saffar and at the first meeting I felt the geniuness of her concern and support of me returning to healthy lifestyle. She acknowledged my struggle with the surgery plan and was patient with me throughout my journey. After I was actively waitlisted on 10/13, I went into heart failure on 10/26. I was hospitalized with a continual admission plan until a heart was available. On 10/30 I received the blessing of a heart. I’m so thankful for having Dr. Al-Saffar’s medical guidance, and continued support provided to me and family! I’m able to be here and enjoy my children and my seven young grandchildren.
