When I returned to Connecticut, it was almost impossible to find a gynecologist accepting new patients. I had to call my insurance, United HealthCare Medicare, for help. They suggested Dr. Fariha Khan, who was also accepting new patients.Dr. Kahn is super young, and I can see that she will have a beautiful career. She is the type of doctor who really cares about you, which is rare to find in the USA. I am from Brazil, and the doctors there are so much better than those here; they will even give you their cell phones.After I had been at her office in the afternoon for a consultation, Dr. Kahn called me at home around 8:30 p.m. to comment on my exam. Honestly, which doctor in this country does the same? At least in my 25 years in the US, this never happened. Then, I received her comments on my test, which she posted at 1:30 a.m.(!) She is a doctor who loves being a doctor, and anyone can tell just by being around her.
