Doctor Yin saved my life; in August, she diagnosed me with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and had the NY Blood Bank perform a Leukapheresis. The decision to have this procedure was Doctor Yin's. If that had not happened, I would have died within a few days. I am 77 years old and above the age for a transplant. Due to Doctor Yin's diligence, she monitored my progress daily until I went into remission. I still have more treatments for my illness, but I do owe my life to her.
