I started seeing Dr. Javier when my original Allergy Doctor decided to retire. The allergy shots are now given at 21 West Jefferson Street in Waterloo, Iowa & in Suite #103. I am giving him 4 stars instead of 5 because when I went to get my allergy shot on Thursday, November 30, 2023, there was no one at the reception desk. I had to wait for at least 5 - 6 minutes for someone to get to the reception desk & finally get me checked - in. The nurse who normally gives me my shot also stood in the hallway talking to another patient instead of getting my allergy shot prepared to give to me. I feel both the receptionist & the nurse should realize all of their patients' time is valuable. I ALWAYS have a very busy schedule to follow with lots of other things to do. I should not have to wait so long to get checked - in & then have to wait for the nurse to stop just talking to other patients after their shots has already been given. I had to rush to get to my next appt because of extra waiting.
