Patient Reviews
Dec 18, 2023
My husband was admitted to the hospital with new kidney disease. He brought my husband back to good health. He explains everything and asks many questions to get the full picture. It turns out, a primary doctor had over medicated my husband with hypertensive medications and his kidneys were not getting enough blood pressure to work correctly. The PCP insisted that BP under was just something my husband was to get used to….nope chronic kidney disease stage 2 due to a doctor that couldn’t apply first semester md school. Thank you Dr Abanilla for being so thorough and diving in to find the reason for the kidney issues that my husband was hospitalized for treatment.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
