I found Dr. Parra-Ferro to be a competent, well-trained, and skillful ER specialist who rapidly assessed and treated my acute illness. He had a calming bedside manner, listened carefully to symptom descriptions and history, engaged an appropriate array of assessment measures, and ordered a treatment course consistent with assessment results. He explained the process as things unfolded and taught effectively. It was easy to understand his explanations.Being put at ease from the beginning was helpful and welcome. His approach, conveyance of genuine concern, and efficiency made it easy to trust him and his care decisions.
