I presented to Dr. Backes with stage four ovarian cancer. I was frightened and had so many questions about possible treatments and outcomes. She was kind but clear about what I was facing. She calmly and clearly answered all of my many questions. She guided me to the best possible treatments, surgery, and post care. At every turn her expert care gave me confidence and hope to continue with treatment. She saved my life and continued to do everything possible to extend my life and give me the best post cancer life possible. I cannot recommend her enough.
