When I was first admitted to JCL during a cardiac event I was told by the nursing staff that I was lucky to have Dr. Surdakowski - he was the best in the business. When I met him he told me what he wanted to do was - in part - new. We agreed to proceed and he implanted a coated stent in my heart. It worked - it never closed up like older models did. He followed me intensely for 17 years to make sure everything continued to work well. I'm happy to say It has worked amazingly well. I am grateful 17 times over for each of the years Dr. Surdakowski has given me.
