Patient Reviews
Dec 15, 2024
I struggled with AFib 24-7 for one year. My local Electrophysiologist was unable to solve the problem. I reached out to my Cardiologist doctor and asked him if I was going to just learn to life with this problem. He said I know a doctor who if it can be fixed, he can do it, would you like me to refer you? He referred me to Dr Cuoco in North Charleston. After my first appointment, he scheduled me a Dofetiide procedure at the hospital. After three days the AFib stopped. This is a medicine treatment. He had me stay on this for a month, checking with me regularly to make sure things were going as they should. After thirty days, he said it is time to do an atrial fibrillation ablation. He uses the latest technology of Pulsed Field Ablation, which is the safest and most effective. He also uses new technology to seal the veins after the surgery. I have been out of AFib since surgery. I was told he was the best, and I have to say he is the best of the best! So is the staff
