Dr, Lofquist is extremely competent and professional. I had two babies with her, a C-section and a VBAC, and both births went fine. I pay out of pocket as a Berkeley resident. Dr. Lofquist is wrongly perceived as cold and unemotional, when she is actually acutely concerned about health and science. She does not suffer foolish and amateurish ideas in the delivery room that might interfere with procedures. Women expect her to be a best friend and therapist while in labor.
