I fought for 2 years with various mikitary Doctors to figure out why my daughter was so sick. Age 9 wearing a 5T. Constant coughing up dark green mucus. Short of breath. Dark circle around eyes. Finally went out on my own and just got lucky to see Dr Johnson. He evaluated my daughter, listened to lungs, reviewed chest xray and within minutes was on phone with Rady Children's. Dr Johnson fully suspected Cystic Fibrosis. The following day we had the sweat test performed. The day after this, Dr Johnson made the tough call, to me. Dr Johnson was absolutely correct in his diagnosis. Finally, we could get the correct treatment. Finally. She was breathing with only 42% lung function. This man trully saved my daughter's life. Forever grateful Dr Johnson. We love you!
