This is a great surgeon. I had my 3rf rotator cuff repair in 2 years. The last guy, Dr. Avallone, screwed up the repair. Dr. Lewullis repaired it. His work is phenomenol; however, if you prefer your followups to be with him, then he is not your guy. Not that his PA is not competent, she certainly is, but if you are expecting the surgeon to physically check in on you after discharge, it won't be happening...at least it didn't for me. But my shoulder is great and my hats off to him, his first assist, and the entire LVHN surgical team. I highly recommend him!
