Patient Reviews
Sep 24, 2024
Dr. Rand is the best professional when it comes to eye issues especially cataracts. I first met him when he was a resident at Jacobi Medical Center. I was impressed and remain impressed and grateful for his professionalism, expertise, bedside manner. I saw him both at his office in Scarsdale and at Columbia Presbyterian. He is always open to dialogue. He is always open to communicating with others. In fact when a very close friend of mine who is a former elected official Dr. Rand called him and advised him on major vision issues he was having. His caring for me not only as a patient but as a human being stays with me. I know that as I age and as I am in need of services he will always be there for me.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
