Patient Reviews
Dec 19, 2024
I had a very rare cancer in my skull base and nasal cavity. I spent two months in San Diego desperately trying to get a surgery date, so I switched to Dr. Zada. He was so kind and understanding in his exam room that I, a 60-year-old man, shed a tear of relief. He got me into OR in less than two weeks. He and his fellow surgeon spent 7.5 hours on me in surgery, so meticulous were they. When he visited me later in hospital I reflexively smiled so broadly. He told me they got 'negative margins,' meaning samples taken around the tumor bed showed no residual cancer. My type of cancer has a very high 'recurrence rate' and yet two years later I am still cancer free. Thank you, Dr. Zada!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
