I was in the ER over the weekend with severe chronic pain and working with my Pain Management Physician. We were attempting to change my drugs that I take for severe pain and managed to go into withdrawal. It was awful and I was terrified. Dr. Gagnon was very professional and caring. He recognized my problem and explained what could be done but left it up to me whether to return to the medication I had been on or to try steps to continue the medication change . I chose to return to the drug
