My experience was positive. I went in for an adjustment to my lower partial plate that no longer seated without pinching. It turned out that I had an infection below my front teeth causing swelling that prevented the plate from seating. The x-ray showed the teeth had short roots as well, so extraction was determined to be the best way forward, with a new lower plate to be made after the gums heal.
