I've been going to ophthalmologists for almost 40 years due to eye issues I've had since I was 4. Dr. Roddy is probably the best that I've seen. He was really professional and really adept at doing the exam. Often doctors take a while looking at things in my eyes, but he was able to do it in just a couple of minutes. I think this was skill as opposed to not looking very hard. He also didn't cause any discomfort. He was very nice and made sure I knew what was going on and that I could have decisions about what to do next. The only issue was that the waiting time in the office was pretty long, but I know that ophthalmology at Mayo is in high demand, so they have a lot of patients to see.
