Patient Reviews

I was vacationing with young family members, two 8 year old's and one 6 year old. A day after arriving at our vacation spot in St. Pete Beach, an excruciating pain woke me up at 5:00 a.m. The closest adult family member was 3 hours away. After my family reached me, I was rushed to Pasadena Hospital where I was met by the ER team. After conducting a scan, it was determined that I was close to a ruptured appendix. The ER team called Dr. Sigle (whom was the doctor on call and an expert on the colon, etc.) to come in. Glad it was not a pediatrist on call LOL! Within 2 hours I was rolled into the operating room for emergency surgery. Here I was in a city far from home with no family. But after my meeting in pre-op with Dr. Sigel, I was completely at peace and knew with certainty that I was in the greatest surgical hands. Surgery was so successful that I was discharged within 24 hours. I am making the 3 hour drive back for follow up because of my great experience.:)

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
