I was struggling with debilitating symptoms for a couple years and it was finally chalked up to chronic reflux. From the start, Dr Fulghum was professional and transparent and referred me to the proper departments quickly to get all pertinent information. After diagnosis and weighing options, he was able to get me in for surgery in only 2 weeks. He followed up with me on his day off while in the hospital and always had useful answers to my questions. The nurses and techs are all very friendly and the atmosphere was very positive during my stay. After a few days of recovery, most of the previous symptoms were gone and I am feeling much better overall. I have heard the stigma of base hospitals over my 15 years in service but this experience has been equal to or greater than the other surgeries I have had with the private sector. The medical team seemed happy to be there and not overworked and for part of my stay I had an entire team as the only patient in recovery.
