Patient Reviews
Dec 09, 2024
When I was given my diagnosis that I had a possibly deadly cancer. I struggle with managing healthcare given that I am trans and in my fifties. It was difficult for me to find doctors and medical staff to treat me with dignity and equal respect given that I belong to the LGBT community and now another stigma of having cancer. Despite my HIV status and all the bias I experienced through my journey. The first I met Dr. George Nicolas Batty; it was a life changing experience. I started again to believe that there are angels out in the healthcare that truly care and would like to provide the best scientific most personalized patient care. I had to take chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy and was screened for genetic testing. I pretty much sure that I would not had an excellent outcome and I am cancer free without the honorable Dr. Batty's care, dedication to science and respect to minorities as myself HIV positive and transsexual.
