Dr. Reyes has been the only Psychiatrist of 7 I have worked with beyond 6-12 months. I have worked with Dr. Reyes for over a year and have been blessed to say that my wellness and quality of life have substantially improved. Dr. Reyes has never missed an appointment, listens to my concerns, and methodically approaches problems with treatments that have proven effective for me. The untraditional approach to developing an alliance, instituting habits and behavioral changes to mild symptoms before the medical intervention, encourages me to focus on long-term relief instead of temporary medical support. Previous experiences with Psychiatrists were 3-4 mins and only concentrated on medication management. Not many doctors seem genuinely happy about their patient's success and achievements, but Dr. Reyes observes them and ensures they are recognized when things seem murky. From my self-esteem & understanding of my worth to regulating and rewiring, I have worked hard to feel empowered and self-compassion. Before, I would solely attribute Dr. Reyes to these accomplishments, but again, he reminds me that although he's a part of my support to wellness, the tools and skills offered were always part of the alliance to put into practice.
