The first appointment started well with him listening carefully. He gave details on my situation, provided thorough information on the procedure and why, options that were available with pros and cons of each, and he was compassionate. He visited in pre-op to reassure me as well as provide some details of the day. All went well. In the day-after visit, he filled me in on the details of the day before, results, prognosis and outlook, and answered questions (what few I had at the time). In all situations there was no rush, he was attentive and answered all questions, provided details, and showed care and compassion.
