Patient Reviews
Mar 26, 2024
I have seen Dr. Gordon for 15 years. At my last appointment, we discussed how I was doing after a difficult manic episode. I had been compliant with all my meds. I was doing well and out of nowhere experienced an acute manic episode that started while I was at home. This is not my first time to experience mania so I knew what was happening. My wife contacted Dr. Gordon. He respected my desire to try and manage the mania without hospital care. He gave my wife and me instructions and we followed them to the letter. He asked for 1-2 updates a day and we did that. Dr. Gordon is primarily a psychiatrist: He is trained and board certified in Internal Medicine as well. He does not practice internal medicine. But he is better able to anticipate and manage side effects and physical symptoms that often come with psychiatric illness. Dr. Gordon is always willing to go the extra mile.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
