Dr. Lavigne is Amazing. Professional and personable. He Really listened to my questions and answered every one. He took as much time as I needed. He performed a total hip replacement on my left hip October of 2023. It was an amazing experience. I literally had NO PAIN. Some discomfort and aching of course - But Nothing like the 2 knee replacements I've had by another physician. I was up and walking that evening with a walker. He supplied me with an amazing icing product and a Tens unit. I kept ice on my hip constantly during the day. I think that too was a big help. The knee physician, never mentioned ice... The in home PT within 2 days of me returning home was great, little to no pain there too. The hardest part was to remember Not to turn my foot leg a certain way for 90 days. I will return to Dr. Lavigne to re-replace one of my knees, that a previous Dr. had told me had NOT been recalled and been giving me problems. But in fact Dr. Lavigne found out it HAS been recalled.
