I recently ( 4 weeks ago) had laparoscopic surgery to repair an umbilical hernia performed by Dr. Zielinski, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch.Dr. Zielinski's professionalism and expertise were evident throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain the procedure in detail, answered all of my questions, and made sure I was fully comfortable going into surgery. The laparoscopic incisions are healing nicely and I was able to stop taking pain medication in just under 1 week after the surgery. My recovery is going well.The staff at Long Island Community Hospital also deserves mention. The nurses were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, which made the whole experience more comfortable. I arrived at 6:30 am and by 12:30 pm same day I was already on my way home. I was impressed with how smoothly everything went. I definitely recommend Dr Zielinski and his team.
