Dr. Gustavo Lopes, D.O., F.A.C.O.S., is an exceptional physician and surgeon whose encyclopedic knowledge, brilliant mind, wide-ranging experience, surgical skills, expertise, and humane and compassionate care make him a gleaming prodigy in his subspecialties of bariatric surgery and robotic laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery.I recently had the fortune to receive surgical treatment from Dr. Lopes. As a seasoned physician myself, I have high standards for medical professionals, and Dr. Lopes exceeded every expectation during my recent surgery. He was thorough, patient, and empathetic from the initial consultation through post-operative follow-ups. Dr. Lopes ensured I was informed and comfortable throughout the entire process, answering my many questions with clarity, kindness, and empathic reassurance.The surgery was a total success, and my recovery was smooth and pain-free without the need for any opiate analgesics. At 14 days post-op, the incisional scars are invisible.
