Dr. Halawani is extremely easy to talk with. It is not unusual for him to hug his patients, which makes you feel at ease as a patient and as a family member. The first time I met Dr. Halawani he gave me a big hug and told me to just ask any question I might have in my husband's cancer care, which put me at ease, knowing my husband's cancer care was with Dr. Halawani.
