Dr. Iyer was a life saver after my hand was crushed in a freak skiing accident. I was lucky enough to meet him in the Hackensack emergency room. I originally planned on asking for a second opinion, but once I met Dr. Iyer I had full confidence in him. He took the time to show me my x-rays, explain the break, and walk me through the surgical repair. The injury was much more extensive than I expected, so he answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. He then stayed with me in the ER to clean out the lacerations and put on a temporary splint. He kept me calm during a very uncomfortable and nerve-racking time. Five days later, Dr. Iyer operated on my hand to reset and repair the broken bone. He walked me through the entire procedure and explained all the possible outcomes. Now, just three months later I have regained full extension and flexion in my fingers and the scar is hardly noticeable. I am so impressed by Dr. Iyer and his entire team! He is phenomenal!
